Acknowledgements To All Sponsors & Volunteers

Bucksburn in Bloom would like to send recognition to all of the volunteers & local businesses for their contributions over the past 3 years, which without their generous help we could never been able to go to exhibit our flower bed at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.
A special thanks go to the volunteers that helped with our flower bed "When Bucksburn Met the Highlander", the Manchester Crew, Pete & colleagues, Conwy, & Kevin from Bury. They gave up their weekend to help with our flowerbed, their help was very special to us. Many times people rarely see what goes into making a flower bed, they only see the flower bed when it is finished. The exhibitors are like one big family, that has a very special quality of friendship. Being part of the RHS Tatton Park Family gives you a sense of belonging.
To all who have helped Bucksburn in Bloom we would like to send our grateful thanks.
we would also like to extend our thanks to the Lord & Lady Provost of Aberdeen for putting their trust in Bucksburn in Bloom.
Someone once asked me "Why do you volunteer to do all of this" my answer is & always will be "I do it to get the satisfaction of seeing how nice it can look when you put in a bit of hard work, & to see people enjoy what you have put into it", also to show what you can achieve with the plants & a lot of thought. It is also gives you a good feeling knowing that you have to get the plants ready for the show & with the weather here in Scotland that can be very challenging as we have a shorter growing season & weather that can change at the drop of a hat.
